JEE Main, NEET 2021 Dates, syllabus
On November 27 the education minister announced a live session with students on December 03, 2020, to discuss the students' concerns about examinations next year. The minister has also announced that he has directed the NTA to consult with the state and central boards and issue a revised syllabus for the various entrance and competitive exams it conducts. Many school boards, including the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) , have docked the syllabus for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2021 because teaching has been affected by the pandemic.
Typically, every year the date for the first attempt of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main for engineering is announced by this time. However, this year, the disruption caused by COVID-19 to entrance exams and school board exams has delayed the decisions. Officials from the National Testing Agency earlier told Careers360 that the first of two JEE Main 2021 will likely be held in February instead of January.
