JK Lakshmipat University collaborates with IITs, IIITs for semester exchange programmes

JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU), Jaipur, offers exclusive semester exchanges with IITs, IIITs, and global institutions without tuition fees
NEW DELHI: In a first, JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) Jaipur has announced to offer free semester exchange programmes in collaboration with Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other top global universities.
The strategic partnerships aim to provide the students of JKLU with diverse resources and perspectives to enhance their competitiveness in the global job market. Students can participate in up to four semester exchange programmes, “with credits earned seamlessly integrated into their JKLU curricula, ensuring continuity and alignment with degree requirements”, the official statement read.
The collaborations, established by JKLU’s Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), feature state-of-the-art laboratories and strong academic partnerships, advancing studies in fields like artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and data science. The IET also offers modern BTech, MTech, and PhD programmes. JKLU's collaborations extend to bachelors and masters programmes in management and design, providing global industry exposure as well.
Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Dheeraj Sanghi, vice-chancellor of JKLU, said: “At JKLU, our strategic alliances with premier institutions, both within India and internationally, are a cornerstone of our educational ethos. These collaborations are meticulously crafted to integrate seamlessly with our academic philosophy, extending our educational boundaries and enriching our academic community. By connecting our students with some of the world’s leading universities, we not only open doors for them to excel academically but also culturally and professionally.”
JLKU also has an extensive network of national and global partnership with institutions including IIT Jammu, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bhilai, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, and BITS Pilani. Internationally, JKLU has collaborated with the University of Florida, the University of Massachusetts, the University of South Carolina, Michigan State University, the University of Birmingham, the University of Wales, and other top universities.
