Students who are appearing for the Class 12 board exams must have the consent of their parents to appear for the exams. They should carry the letter of consent from parents while appearing for the examinations. Without it, they will not be allowed to enter the exam venue.
‘’The external practical exams will be conducted by the respective affiliated institutes at their own level before the commencement of theory exams and submit the award rolls internal and external practicals to the board immediately after the issuance of the JKBOSE Class 12 admit cards’’, reads the JKBOSE 12th exam time table copy.
This year, the board has reduced the syllabus of classes 10 and 12 by 30% to accommodate for the time lost due to the COVID-19. It has also increased the number of exam centres for students to maintain social distance during the exams and every centre will be filled with 50% capacity of students.
Meanwhile, JKBOSE has not finalized the dates for Class 10 boards exams. The time table for Class 10th exams will be released in the coming days. The exams are expected to be held in November 2022, tentatively in offline mode.
Last year, the JKBOSE had cancelled the board exams for Classes 10 and 12 due to COVID-19 pandemic. The results were prepared on the basis of evaluation criteria.
