JoSAA second mock seat allotment result 2025 out for round 1 counselling; registration ends tomorrow

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has issued the second mock seat allotment result for round 1 counselling 2025 today, June 11. The mock allotment gives candidates an idea of the seat they are likely to get based on their current preferences and their rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main or JEE Advanced.

Candidates who participated in the JoSAA mock counselling 2025 can check the seat allotment result through the official website at josaa.nic.in by entering their JEE Main application number and password. The JoSAA will close the registration and choice filling process for academic programmes tomorrow, June 12, 2025, at 5 pm. After the deadline, all choices submitted by candidates will be system-locked.

The JoSAA released the second mock seat allotment result based on the choices filled by candidates on June 10. The mock counselling process helps students applying for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other government-funded technical institutions to adjust their preferences to improve their chances in the final allotment round.

As per the official schedule, JoSAA will begin the process of reconciliation, verification and validation of data to prepare for the first round of seat allotment.
