The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the registration process for the post graduate dental courses 2026-27. Applicants can register themselves on the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The last to submit the application form is August 17, 2026, at 11:59 pm and the fees can be submitted by August 18, 2026, at 6 pm.

The process includes seats in government dental colleges, government quota seats in private and minority dental colleges, and private quota seats in private dental colleges across Karnataka. KEA has also provided links for document verification and the PG MDS admission process.

Applicants seeking admission to PG dental courses in Karnataka must meet the eligibility requirements prescribed for NEET MDS 2026. Candidates who secure the required minimum qualifying marks in NEET MDS can participate in the Karnataka admission process. However, clearing NEET MDS alone does not guarantee eligibility for all seat categories. Aspirants must also satisfy the applicable Karnataka eligibility, reservation and seat-category requirements to claim specific seats.

Reservation rules for PG Dental admissions

Applicants from outside Karnataka cannot claim reservation benefits under the state's SC, ST, or OBC categories. They can participate in the admission process only if they meet the minimum qualifying standard for the general or unreserved category, which is the 50th percentile in NEET MDS.

For aspirants seeking reserved seats in Karnataka, the prescribed eligibility conditions must be met. SC candidates must submit a caste certificate carrying the applicable internal classification, such as SCA, SCB or SCC, and provide the RD number while filling the application. Failure to submit the required certificate or details may affect their eligibility to select SC reserved seats.

Document verification

KEA has also issued an update regarding document verification for PG dental admissions. Applicants should keep all required certificates and supporting documents ready and follow the verification instructions issued by the authority. Aspirants claiming eligibility or reservation based on specific documents will be required to produce the relevant proof during the verification process.
