NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 registration ends today at 2 pm; seat allotment on August 19

NEET Counselling 2026: The registration process for Round 1 of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate, NEET UG 2026 counselling will end today, August 15, 2026. Interested candidates who are yet to register for counselling process can complete their registration on the official MCC website by 2 pm, as per server time. The payment facility will remain available until 5 pm today.

The choice-filling process for round 1 will continue until August 17, 2026, up to 6 pm. Choice locking will be available from 10 am to 6 pm on August 17, as per server time.

NEET UG round 1 counselling dates

The processing of round 1 seat allotment will begin on August 18 and round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on August 19, 2026.

Candidates allotted seats in round 1 will be required to report to or join their respective institutes between August 20 and August 25. The verification of joined candidates' data by the respective institutes will be conducted on August 26, 2026.

Candidates can follow the steps below to register for round 1 of the NEET UG 2026 counselling:

• Visit the official Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website mcc.nic.in
• On homepage, go to UG medical counselling section and click on the registration link for NEET UG 2026 counselling
• Register using required credentials and provide the necessary personal and academic details
• Pay counselling registration fee online
• Complete choice-filling process by selecting preferred courses and colleges
• Save and submit choices before the deadline
