NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the dress code for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2024 MTech exam. KEA has also listed the prohibited items and Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam timings in detail. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech, MArch will be held on September 18 from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card has been issued at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates are required to provide their application number and enter first four letters of their name to download the Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card. Candidates are required to carry their Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card along with a valid photo Id such as Aadhar card, driving license, voter ID card or passport.
The Karnataka PGCET 2024 will be held in offline mode. Candidates will be given OMR sheet to mark their answers. The Karnataka PGCET 2024 MTech paper will carry 100 marks. There will be a total of 100 questions. Candidates will get 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Candidates are required to adhere to the dress code and avoid bringing prohibited items such as electronic devices (phones, pen drives, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices, wristwatches), edibles, pencils, paper, erasers, caps, hats, and masks into the examination center. As per KEA, drinking water will be provided at the center.
As per the official dress code, male candidates are required to wear light-colored, half-sleeve shirts and plain trousers without large buttons or zip pockets. Kurta Pajama and jeans are not permitted. Footwear should be sandals or thin-soled shoes.
For female candidates, half-sleeve clothing without elaborate embroidery or large buttons is recommended by KEA. Jeans and full-sleeve attire are prohibited. High-heeled or thick-soled shoes are not allowed, and metal jewelry is restricted, except for Mangalsutra or Kalungura.

First bell (2:00 pm):
Candidates are required to present their Karnataka PGCET 2024 admit card and valid ID for entry, with invigilators verifying details before distributing OMR sheets
Second bell (2:15 pm):
At 2:20 PM, the sealed question paper packet will be handed to room invigilators, who will verify the seal with two candidates before opening it at 2:25 PM to distribute the booklets.
Third bell (2:30 pm):
Candidates may open their question booklets and begin answering on their OMR Sheets. No candidates are allowed to enter or exit the examination hall until the session ends.
Fourth bell (3:30 pm):
This caution bell signals that one hour of the examination has passed.
Fifth bell (4:00 pm):
This second caution bell indicates that there are thirty minutes remaining in the examination.
Sixth bell (4:25 pm):
The last caution bell warns that only five minutes is left.
Seventh and last bell (4:30 pm):
The examination ends. The invigilator ensures all candidates have stopped answering and collects the OMR answer sheets.
