KC Mahindra Education Trust announces scholarship for Indian students in PG programmes abroad

Interest-free loan scholarships will be awarded to those who have secured admission or have applied to foreign universities for PG programmes.
NEW DELHI: The KC Mahindra Education Trust has announced its scholarship programme for postgraduate studies abroad. The KC Mahindra scholarship programme aims to enable Indian students to pursue their higher education dreams. Candidates can register online at the KC Mahindra Education Trust website.
Under the programme, interest-free loan scholarships will be awarded to students who have secured admission or have applied for admission in foreign universities for programmes starting August 2023 but not later than February 2024.

A maximum of Rs 10 lakh per scholar will be conferred to the top three KC Mahindra fellows. Scholarships of Rs 5 lakh will be awarded to the remaining successful applicants.
KC Mahindra Education Trust Scholarship Eligibility
To be eligible for the KC Mahindra Education Trust scholarship, applicants must have a consistently good academic record and should have applied for admission to a postgraduate programme in an accredited institution abroad.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and the final selection will be made based on their academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and financial need.

Speaking about the scholarship, Sheetal Mehta, Senior Vice President, CSR, Mahindra Group said: “Our scholarship program aims to identify and support talented Indian students who have the potential to make a significant contribution to their chosen field of study. We believe that providing financial assistance to such students will not only help them achieve their academic goals but also help build a better future for our country.”

Over the years, the trust has influenced the lives of over eight lakh students with enormous potential to pursue their dreams of higher education and create a better future for themselves and their families, an official statement issued in this regard said.
The KC Mahindra Education Trust, the statement added, has been awarding the scholarship for higher education abroad since 1956. In 2022, a total of Rs 315 lakh as scholarships was awarded to 60 meritorious students as part of this scholarship program.
