NEW DELHI: As per reports, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and Department of Pre-University Education are soon going to hold a meeting to decide upon reduction of KCET syllabus 2021.

The meeting on reduction of syllabus for KCET 2021 will probably be held this week. The authorities shall decide on whether the Karnataka CET syllabus should be reduced.
KCET 2021 syllabus is prepared in accordance with the syllabus of Pre-University classes I and II. The authorities had reduced PUC I and II syllabus (class 11 and 12) by 30% for current year as classroom teaching did not take place for the session.
The reports reflect an announcement by KEA Director disclosing that “There will likely be a cut in KCET 2021 syllabus. How many portions will be cut and other details will be made known after the KEA and PUE meeting”.
Thus, candidates can expect declaration on KCET 2021 syllabus sooner. The authorities may also announce the KCET 2021 exam date.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducts Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2021 as a screening test for admissions into undergraduate programmes. KCET 2021 includes admissions to Engineering, B. Pharm, and Farm Science courses in Government/ University/ Private Aided/Private un-aided institutions in Karnataka State.
