NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority will begin the KCET web option entry from tomorrow, October 7 at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants will have to complete the KCET 2022 web option entry round 1 in online mode till October 11. The authorities have announced the KEA KCET counselling dates 2022 at the official website.

Candidates who have qualified under KCET results are eligible for the counselling and seat allotment process. The KCET counselling 2022 consists of steps such as online registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and admission fee payment. Candidates will be able to select their prefered college during the web option entry of KCET 2022. Candidates can check the KCET 2022 web options dates from below.

Candidates are suggested to select as many choices as possible to increase chances of admission into KCET participating institutes. The KCET seat allotment results will be prepared based on factors such as rank secured in CET examination, candidate’s category, seat availability and choices locked by the students.

The provisional KCET allotment letter has to be downloaded and printed out by the candidates and reach the allotted institute for admission confirmation. The exercise of choices by the candidates alloted seats in round 1 shall be completed before October 20. Candidates must note that during the exercising option, candidates will have to select one option out of four choices after understanding the implication of each choice.
