KCET results 2025 for some students have not been declared due to errors in the registration number submitted by them. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has given an opportunity to upload their marks online from May 26, the executive director H Prasanna said. KCET Results 2025 (OUT) LIVE

KCET results 2025 were declared today for engineering, pharmacy, nursing, agriculture admissions in the state universities and participating colleges for the academic year 2025-26. A total of 3,30,787 candidates registered, of which 3,11,991 appeared for the exam and 2,75,677 qualified. However, several students have submitted representations stating that even though they passed the Karnataka 2nd PUC or Class 12 exams in the previous year, their CET results were not published.

The officials said that the KCET results were delayed due to incorrect registration number submitted by around 10,000 students. Notably, this is the first time that all the original documents have been verified before the CET results.

KEA released the CET-2025 results on Saturday. However, several candidates have submitted representations stating that even though they passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 exams in the previous year, their CET results were not published. In response, the KEA issued a press release on Saturday.

“It was earlier announced that the 2nd PUC / Class 12 marks would be obtained directly from the respective education boards before announcing the CET-2025 results, and candidates were required to enter the correct registration number. However, some candidates failed to enter the correct registration number, due to which their results could not be processed,” Prasanna said.

The KCET online link will be activated for candidates to enter their Karnataka 2nd PUC or Class 12 marks along with their correct application number. They are also required to upload their Class marksheet. The KEA will verify the details and allot spot ranks starting from May 29. “Candidates are not required to visit the KEA office to obtain the spot rank,” he clarified.

The call centres of KEA, which operated with 5 phone lines, will now have 10 helplines. Additionally, staff have been deployed from 8 am to 8 pm and arrangements have been made for staff to operate all days of the week.
