Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the mock allotment results for Karnataka Common Entrance Test counselling. Those who who participated in the option entry process can now check their provisional allotment on KEA counselling portal using their login credentials. The mock allotment gives candidates an indication of the college and course they are likely to secure based on their KCET rank, category, preferences submitted during option entry and the availability of seats. candidates can add, delete, reorder or modify their options until 10 am on July 9.
Mock allotment is provisional in nature, it helps candidates make informed decisions before first round of seat allotment. Mock seat allotment is only an indicative seat status, therefore, candidates need not report to the college. KEA website reads, "Colleges should not admit the candidates against this mock result sheet."
