Download NowThe Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the last date for submitting options for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) counselling 2025 till July 18. Accordingly, the mock seat allotment date has been revised to July 21. KCET option entry 2025 link is available on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
KEA informed that the extension has been provided due to delay in logging in following a server error. The site went under maintenance and the counselling process was halted for a while today due to server issues.
“The issue that appeared on the server is returning to normal, and in the interest of the candidates, the option entry date has been extended from July 15 to July 18. Due to the server issue causing a slight delay in logging in and entering options, this extension has been made. Candidates awaiting seats for Engineering, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Science, B.P.T., and Allied Health Science courses should take advantage of this opportunity to complete the process without any anxiety,” said KEA in a post on X.
The authorities once again advised engineering aspirants to prepare a list of colleges and courses in order of preference (with college code and course code) on a plain paper in advance and then enter the options on the portal. “Doing so prevents a large number of candidates from keeping the portal active for an extended period, making it easier for other candidates to access the portal,” it reasoned.

For newly registered Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates, the Kannada language test will be held on July 17 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Bengaluru center.
Moreover, KEA asked candidates who have registered and filled out the online application for Karnataka NEET UG counselling 2025 after July 7 and paid the fees (those claiming seats under classes ‘A’ to ‘O’ and ‘Z’) to appear for verification of all original documents at the KEA office from July 17 to 19 for admission to medical, dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, or Unani courses, based on the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 scores.
