The KEA will open the correction window to edit Karnataka Police Constable Civil application forms for registered candidates from July 10 to 13.

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for recruitment of Civil Police Constable posts to July 8. Eligible candidates can apply for the Karnataka Police Constable Civil posts through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The decision to extend the last date to submit online application form was taken after some candidates submitted requests to the KEA, expressing their failure to submit their applications within the stipulated period due to various reasons, as per the official notification.
Interested candidates requested the authority to be allowed to edit the details in the application as they have entered incorrect information in the Karnataka Police Civil Constable applications already submitted, it said.

The KEA will open the correction window to edit Karnataka Police Constable Civil application forms for registered candidates from July 10 to 13.
The authority will conduct the Karnataka Police Constable Civil examination 2026 on August 12 to fill a total of 3,395 vacancies.
As per the eligible criteria, candidates having a passing certificate of Class 12 or PUC or an equivalent board such as CBSE, ISC, and other state boards are eligible to apply.
Notably, the lower age limit to apply for the Karnataka constable exam is 18 years, while the upper age limit is 33 years for general category candidates.
Whereas, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), category-I, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories can apply up to the age of 35 years.
Moreover, those from tribal communities residing in Karnataka’s forest areas, the maximum age limit has been set at 36 years.
Furthermore, candidates 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B will have to pay an application fee of Rs 750, whereas, SC, ST, Category-l, ex-servicemen and transgender candidates can pay Rs 500 as registration charges.
