Try NowThe Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the first round seat allotment schedule for the Under Graduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 on the official portal of KEA counselling at keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.
This schedule is for the admission to various undergraduate professional courses, including engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, nursing, and allied health science.
The web option entry process has already started and will end on June 30, 2026 by 10 am. Candidates appearing for NEET 2026 have been informed that option entry will begin from June 22, 2026. Candidates who are going to submit their preferences during the web option entry process will be considered during the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 seat allotment process.

KCET Counselling 2026: Seat matrix soon
As per the notice, the seat matrix provided by the government, universities and concerned departments for engineering, veterinary medicine and animal husbandry, and agricultural sciences (i.e., B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons) Sericulture, B.Sc. (Hons) Horticulture, B.Sc. (Hons) Forestry, B.Tech (Biotechnology), B.Sc. (Hons) Community Science, B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.F.Sc (Fisheries), B.Sc. (Hons) Agricultural Business Management, B.P.O., B.P.T., Allied Health Science and B.Sc. Nursing courses will be released soon.

KEA advised candidates to download their verification slip from the official website and carefully review the latest seat matrix and fee structure before participating in the counselling process. The authority has also asked applicants to go through the UGCET 2026 seat allotment information booklet to understand the admission procedure.
While exercising web options, candidates should arrange their choices in the correct order of preference and make use of the mock allotment phase to revise or fine-tune their selections, if necessary. They are further advised to regularly check the KEA website for counselling-related updates, notifications and important announcements.
