NEW DELHI, JULY 1: Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has released the round-I seat allotment of KEAM 2018 in online mode. Candidates have been allotted seats based on their choices, merit ranks and availability of seats. Students who have been allotted seats have to download allotment memo, pay academic fees and report to the allotted institutes for documents verification. The seat allotment of KEAM is done through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). 

How to check seat allotment result

Follow the mentioned below steps to check the seat allotment result for round-I

  • Visit the official website and log-in to the candidate portal
  • Enter application number and password
  • Seat allotment status will be displayed on the screen.

What after seat is allotted?

Once seat is allotted, candidates need to download the allotment memo by log-in to the candidate’s portal. Further, candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 10,000 to confirm their allotted seat either in online and offline mode. For offline payment, candidates will have to pay the fees to the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations as specified in the allotment memo at any of the Head Post offices in Kerala.The payment has to be done within July 1 to 5, 2018 (5 PM).

After the payment of fees candidates have to report at their allotted institute for document verification and to confirm their admission by fulfilling further formalities.

Documents required for verification

Candidates need to carry original documents for verification along with a set of photocopies. In case a candidate fails to produce their documents or does not appear for verification process, then his/her allotment will stand cancel.

  • KEAM admit card
  • KEAM result
  • Proof of Date of Birth
  • Fee receipt issued by bank
  • 10+2th standard marksheet and pass certificate
  • Allotment memo issued by CEE
  • Transfer and Conduct certificate from the last attended institute
  • Eligibility Certificate from those applicants who have passed their qualifying examination other than examination conducted by Kerala Government or CEE.
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Physical Fitness Certificate
  • Any other document required by the Head of the Institution

Second round of seat allotment

Candidates who are not allotted seats in first round are eligible for second round of KEAM seat allotment. Not only this, allotted candidates can also participate if they have paid the prescribed fee. If seats remained vacant after the rounds, spot allotment will be conducted to fill the vacant ones. The spot round will be allotted in offline mode at the Office of Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE). Only those candidates who are included in the rank list will be allowed to participate in this round.
