NEW DELHI, July 10: CEE Kerala has released the seat allotment result for Round II on July 10. Allotment status can be checked online using application number and password. Candidates who have been allotted seats need to download and take a printout of the allotment letter and pay the seat acceptance fee either online or offline at any nearby post office. Seat acceptance fee will be accepted from July 11 onwards.

The allotment of seats is based on choices filled and the rank of the candidate in the rank list, which is prepared by giving equal weighatge to marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 (PCM only) and KEAM 2018 entrance exam. Typically candidates ranked higher in the rank list are given preference during allotment.

It may be noted that there is likely to be total four rounds of seat allotment. The schedule for third round of seat allotment hasn’t been announced yet, but it may be announced in third week of July. Earlier, seat allotment result for Round I was announced on July 1.

How to check seat allotment status

The candidate need to follow the steps given below to check the seat allotment status:

  • Go to candidate login portal on KEAM website

  • Log-in using application number and password

  • Upon successful log-in, the candidate can view the allotment memo

Download and take printout of the memo.

Details included in the seat allotment memo

  • Name of the candidate

  • Roll number

  • Allotted institute and course

  • Category under which allotment is made

  • Fee to be paid.

What after seat allotment?

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee, either through online or offline mode. Online payments can be made via net banking, credit and debit cards. For making offline payments, the candidate must visit a head post office; don’t forget to bring along the allotment memo when visiting the post office.

After fee has been paid, the candidate has to report at the allotted institute to confirm his/her admission.
