NEW DELHI: The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala is all set to conduct the KEAM 2021 exam tomorrow, August 4. However, as per latest news by The Times of India, the Kerala High Court has restrained the publication of KEAM results 2021. Although a stay order has been issued against the publishing of KEAM result 2021, the court has allowed the authorities to conduct the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Exam 2021 as scheduled.

Earlier, the governments proposed to discard the 50% weightage given to Class 12 marks in the KEAM entrance examination due to the cancellation of CBSE and CISCE exams. The officials pointed out that results declared through a process of normalisation of marks or lenient evaluation may not be an accurate indicator of students’ intellectual capacity.

Now, Justice PB Suresh Kumar has issued a stay on publishing the KEAM results after considering the petition filed by Salvia Hussain of Kollam, Sibi Wilson of Enath, and an organization of CBSE school managements, the report added.

The KEAM 2021 exam, scheduled for tomorrow will be conducted as a pen and paper-based test for the duration of 2 hours 30 minutes each paper.
