NEW DELHI: Kerala government has decided to conduct Class 1 to 9 exams from home. Students have to submit the answer sheet from home by May 10, 2021. The decision was taken due to a surge in COVID-19 cases in the state, as reported by Times Now News. Considering the pandemic situation, the Kerala board has also postponed the valuation of Class 12 examinations.
As per the Times Now News report, “The state education department will distribute the question booklets to the students. Kerala Class 1 to 9 exam question booklet will contain 20 tasks from each subject. A single booklet will be given to the students containing all subject questions.”
The questions are not direct and aim at testing the creativity of students. They are allowed to take help from their parents and teachers to answer Kerala Class 1 to 9 exam questions, the report added.
The report further said that the board has also given instruction to teachers to conclude the valuation process of Kerala Class 1 to 9 annual exams on time. However, teachers have raised their concern. According to them, 10 days are not sufficient to complete the evaluation process.
Students must submit their Kerala Class 1 to 9 annual exams paper before the deadline to avoid any type of inconvenience. Also, keep checking the official website to get further updates on exam dates. Earlier, due to COVID-19, the board postponed the practical examination of Class 12.
