Kerala SSLC Result Date 2023: Board limits grace marks to 30 for Class 10, entry begins today
Kerala SSLC students who have participated in more than one co-curricular event can claim grace marks only one event in which they have scored maximum marks.

NEW DELHI: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala has tweaked the criteria for grace marks for Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC). The grace marks for co-curricular activities has been limited to 30 marks for Class 10 and 12. The link to enter the grace marks for Kerala SSLC exam is active on pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in and sslcexam.kerala.gov.in.
As per the revised criteria, those students who have participated in more than one co-curricular event will be able to claim grace marks only for the event in which they have scored maximum marks.
Those students who score A, B and C grades in arts festivals, science fairs and other competitions will be awarded 20, 15 and 10 marks, respectively. Students who have participated in international sports event will get 30 grace marks, while those who won medals in national level sports event will get 25 marks.
The online entry of grace marks will be allowed from April 24 to April 28. Printouts can be taken after entry and online verification of applications for grace marks from April 29. “If there are two students with the same name in a class, the headmaster should make sure that the registration number of the eligible student is entered,” the official notice read.

Students who are members of Student Police Cadet Project (SPC) will get 20 marks as grace marks for SSLC. However, students with 75% and above attendance are only eligible for grace marks. On the other hand, NCC cadets will get grace marks around 20 to 25 marks.
SS Vivekanandan, Joint Director Examination told the Careers360 earlier that the Kerala SSLC result 2023 will be declared by May 20. The Kerala Class 10 exam was conducted from March 9 to 29.
Students who score a minimum of 35% in all subjects will be declared pass in Kerala SSLC exams 2023. Students will be able to download the marks from the official website, results.kerala.nic.in, pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in or sslcexam.kerala.gov.in.
