Download NowThe Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will conduct Kerala SSLC Save A Year (SAY) 2025 exam from May 28 to June 5. The Kerala Class 10 SAY exam 2025 will be conducted at selected centres in 41 educational districts across the state. The Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) main exam result was announced on May 9.
The Kerala Class 10 SAY exam 2025 is scheduled to be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will be held from 9:30 am to 11:15 am, followed by the second shift, which will take place from 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm. As per the official notice, chief superintendents of SAY exam centres are required to download the hall tickets from the official website and distribute them to students by May 27, 2025.
“SAY exam certificates will be issued to students through the headmasters of their respective schools. If candidates fail to collect the certificate within three months of result publication, the certificates must be returned by registered post to the secretary of the examination office,” the official notice said.
Kerala SSLC SAY Exam 2025: Eligibility criteria
Students who fall under any of these categories will be eligible to appear for the Kerala SSLC SAY exam 2025.
- Only students who appeared for the March 2025 SSLC exam under the regular stream (SGC, ARC, CCC, RAC) are eligible.
- Students who did not secure at least a D+ grade in up to three subjects in the March 2025 exam and hence lost eligibility for higher studies are eligible.
- Students who could not appear for up to three subjects in the March 2025 exam due to special circumstances (such as illness or other valid reasons) are also eligible.
- Candidates who cancelled their registration for the Kerala SSLC main exam 2025 are not eligible.
- Candidates who missed or could not complete the exam due to accidents, serious illness, or death of parents/siblings can appear for more than three subjects, provided they submit valid certificates from a village officer or government doctor.
- Revaluation is not allowed for SAY exams.
- Students who benefited from concessions under the IED category in March 2025 will continue to receive those for the SAY exam, provided they attach a copy of the relevant order from the Directorate of General Education.
