KL University 2026 counselling from May 17 for UG, PG courses; admissions on IPE, CBSE, JEE scores

KL University Admission 2026: Counselling for Hyderabad campuses from May 17, Vijayawada campus from May 27; university announces Rs 100 crore scholarship support
Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation(KL University) has announced its admissions counselling schedule for the 2026-27 academic session across its Vijayawada and Hyderabad campuses across its undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Candidates applying for KL University will be considered for admission through multiple eligibility routes, including Intermediate Public Examination (IPE), CBSE and JEE scores.
The university has announced separate counselling schedules for its Hyderabad and Vijayawada campuses for the 2026-27 admission cycle. The dates are;

The admissions process covers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including engineering, management, pharmacy, architecture , agriculture, law, sciences, commerce and food technology. The university press note mentioned that students who could not appear for the KL Entrance Examination would still be eligible to apply through merit-based admission categories.

KL admissions: Scholarships, placements
KL University will offer scholarships worth Rs 100 crore to students admitted during the current academic cycle, the press note added.
Speaking on the admissions process, J. Srinivasrao, director admissions, KL Deemed to be University, said the counselling sessions were aimed at helping students make “future-focused academic decisions with clarity and confidence”. He added that the university’s admission model allows students to enter programmes through multiple academic pathways based on IPE, CBSE and JEE scores.
The university administration further informed that students and parents attending the counselling sessions would receive guidance on programme selection, scholarship opportunities, academic structure, hostel facilities and career prospects across disciplines.
