KVPY interview 2018 to begin tomorrow; know these important points

NEW DELHI, JANUARY 24 : Indian Institute of Science (IISc) will conduct KVPY interviews beginning tomorrow for the candidates who qualified in the aptitude test. The KVPY interviews are scheduled from January 25 till February 28, 2019. It is the final stage to shortlist candidates for the KVPY fellowship.

During the interview round, candidates are asked some basic question regarding themselves, their hobbies and subject interests. A panel of experts may ask questions to analyze and check the calculating power of candidate, the scientific knowledge and presence of mind.
Documents required
Candidates should report at the venue at the right time for the interview with the requisite documents. Do not forget to carry:

Application form and Interview call letter

Admit card of Aptitude test
-
Original Marks card. (10th Mark Sheet for Stream SA/SX and 12th for Stream SB)

Caste certificate for SC/ST candidates
-
A medical certificate from the competent authority in case of physically and visually challenged students

A Self-Appraisal form
-
Study certificate form: Candidate can obtain it from their respective Principal/Head of the Institution

Teacher recommendation form (In a sealed envelope)
Points to remember during the interview session

Be confident and concentrate on body language

Keep a smile on face.

Maintain eye contact with the panel of experts. Do not stare at them.

Be alert and listen actively.

In case you answered wrong then accept it. Do not argue with the panel.
The final marks of all the students, selected or not selected, will be published by KVPY in April 2019. The final marks of KVPY carry 75% weightage of aptitude test and 25% of the interview.
