MAH BEd, MEd CET 2024 registration date extended for third time; apply by February 15

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has extended the registration date for MAH BEd, MEd, BPed CET exams 2024 for the third time. Candidates who are eligible will be able to apply till February 15 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
For MAH BEd-MEd CET exam, candidates who have a postgraduate degree in science, social sciences, humanities from a recognised institution with a minimum 55% marks and 50% for backward class categories belonging only to Maharashtra state will be considered eligible.
There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-BEd-MEd Integrated CET 2024 and the applicant’s age will be calculated as on July 1, 2024.
On the other hand, to appear for MAH BEd CET exam 2024, candidates should have scored 50% in the qualifying examination and reserved category applicants should have secured a minimum of 45%.
Open category candidates should pay Rs 1,200 as exam fee for MAH BEd-MEd integrated course and other backward class students should deposit Rs 1,000. MAH BEd applicants will have to pay Rs 1,000 as exam fees and the reserved category, orphan and transgender applicants should pay Rs 800.
“No further extension will be given after 15/02/2024. Candidates should take a note of this,” the latest notice read.

Applicants interested in appearing in CET exam for admission to BEd, MEd, MPEd, BPEd, and integrated courses offered by all government, govt-aided, and unaided colleges will have to submit the applications before the deadline.
