MAHA TET 2026 registration begins for classes 1 to 8 teaching posts; exam on June 21

The Maharashtra State Board of Examinations (MSBE), Pune, has opened online applications for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) June 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the MAHA TET 2026 application form on the official website, mahatet.in.
As per the MAHA TET 2026 notification, the last date to submit the MAHA TET application form is April 16. The offline pen-paper-based test will be conducted on June 21 in two shifts.
The first shift will be held from 10:30 am to 1 pm for paper 1, and the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm for paper 2.
Candidates can choose to take paper 1, paper 2, or both, depending on their eligibility and the classes they want to teach. Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5, and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8.

The board will conduct the MAHA TET 2026 exam for recruitment to teaching positions for Classes 1 to 8 in primary and upper primary government schools in Maharashtra.
After the MAHA TET application window closes, the correction window will open. Candidates will be allowed to edit their submitted MAHA TET 2026 application form within a specified time period. The admit card for the Maharashtra TET 2026 will be issued on June 9.

- Go to the official website, mahatet.in.
- Click on the “New registration of candidate” link on the homepage.
- Fill the MAHA TET 2026 registration form with your basic details.
- Next, fill in the MAHA TET application form 2026.
- Upload required documents, including a photograph and a signature.
- Pay the MAHA TET application fee through the available online payment modes.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the same for your future reference.
