Maharashtra AYUSH, BPharm Counselling 2026: Round 1 seat allotment result out; 38,658 seats allotted

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced the round 1 allotment result for Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy (AYUSH), BPharm and PharmD admissions for the 2026-27 academic year. As many as 10,519 students have been offered admission in BAMS, BHMS and BUMS, while 28,139 students have been offered seats in BPharm and PharmD courses.

The AYUSH allotment includes 7,546 BAMS, 2,727 BHMS and 246 BUMS seats, according to the CET Cell's press release dated September 28, 2026.

For BPharm and PharmD, the round 1 allotment covers 28,139 students. Of these, 14,736 students received their first-choice college, resulting in an auto-freeze. A total of 35,988 candidates had filled college preferences for the first round.

Maharashtra AYUSH Seat Allotment 2026: Course-wise allotment

The CET Cell has allotted seats across 166 medical colleges offering BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. Against 11,272 available seats, 10,519 students received admission opportunities, leaving 753 vacant seats for the second round.

As per the Maharashtra AYUSH seat allotment, candidates who have been allotted a college in the first round must report to the allotted college between September 28 and October 1, 2026, up to 5.30 pm, with the required original documents and fee demand draft to confirm admission. The CET Cell has also stated that payment through cheque will be permitted on bank holidays, but the cheque must be replaced with a demand draft on the next working day.

For BAMS, 7,546 students received admission opportunities against 7,689 seats. This includes 1,157 students in government colleges and 6,389 in private colleges.

In BHMS, 2,727 students were allotted seats against 3,333 seats. Of these, 134 students received seats in government colleges and 2,593 in private colleges.

For BUMS, 246 students were allotted seats against 250 seats. The allotment includes 102 seats in government colleges and 144 in private colleges, leaving four seats vacant.

Maharashtra BPharm, PharmD seat allotment 2026

For BPharm and PharmD, the first CAP allotment was announced for 46,984 seats across 528 pharmacy colleges. Of these, 28,139 students received admission opportunities and 14,736 received their first-choice college.

The CET Cell said 44,329 candidates registered for BPharm and PharmD admissions. Of these, 35,988 candidates submitted their college preferences within the stipulated period and were considered for the first CAP allotment.

For BPharm and PharmD, candidates allotted seats in the first round must report to the allotted college between September 28 and September 30, 2026, submit the required documents and pay the applicable fee to confirm admission. The CET Cell said the provisional vacant seats for the second round will be announced on October 1, 2026.

The CET Cell said the 14,736 candidates who received their first-choice college have been placed under Auto Freeze. These candidates must take Maharashtra BPharm admission 2026 to the allotted college.

If such a candidate declines the allotted seat, they will not be eligible to participate in the second, third or fourth rounds and will instead have to participate in the subsequent institutional round, according to the CET Cell.
