Download NowNEW DELHI : The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will reopen the registration window for private candidates for the July- August 2025 exams from April 15. Private candidates can now apply for the Maharashtra Board 2025 exam for the July-August session through the official website, mahahsscboard.in.
The last date to apply for the Maharashtra Board 2025 exam for the July-August session is April 24. Additionally, students who have failed in the Class 10 or 12 exam can apply for the exam as private students without having year gap.
As per the board’s notice, candidates will have to submit a printed copy of their application between April 16 to 25 to their respective schools. For more information regarding the exam, students are advised to contact their school authorities.
“All schools and junior colleges are available for registration for private students for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations as per the board's terms and conditions. All information and guidelines regarding this are published on the board's website mahahsscboard.in,” the Maharashtra board’s notice read.
According to the board’s notice, candidates applying for the exam will have to select their district or taluka based on their chosen stream and medium. A list of schools will appear for selection. The board will further handle all the exam applications, project-based assessments, practical and oral exams, grade-related work, and related assessments, as well as further procedures of students.

The Maharashtra Class 12 exams 2025 were held from February 11 to March 11, and Maharashtra Board Class 10 exams were held from February 21 to March 17.
