Maharashtra school education department has commenced the registration and choice-filling for First-Year Junior College (FYJC) or Class 11 admissions for the academic session 2025-26. Students and parents can apply for Maharashtra FYJC admissions 2025 on the official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

The Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary), Pune has also launched an official WhatsApp channel for updates on Maharashtra 11th admissions 2025.

As per the Maha FYJC admission 2025 schedule, the last date to register and submit preferences is June 3. The provisional merit list will be announced on June 5 while the first allotment list will be issued on June 10. Maharashtra Class 11 admissions are being conducted through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP) across the entire state, in a first.

Meanwhile, the junior college teachers have urged the state government to conduct offline admissions for the first-year students in rural areas and halt the “troublesome” online registration process which is causing financial and educational losses.

The state government briefly closed the official portal for some time to make it compatible for mobile. Around 20 lakh seats are being offered including 8.52 lakh in science stream, 5.40 lakh in commerce, and 6.50 lakh in arts.

The state government earlier issued a new helpline number and email ID for Class 11 CAP and urged all students and parents to rely on only official sources for information, as admission will be conducted in online mode.

In February this year, the Maharashtra government announced its decision to expand the CAP to the whole state. Previously, it was limited to five regions.
