NEW DELHI: Maharashtra government has declared the evaluation criteria of HSC or Class 12th results 2021 on Friday. This year, Maharashtra Board will evaluate the result on the basis of assessments of Class 12th, Class 11th, and the three best performing subjects of Class 10th or HSC final exams.
The criteria is released to award marks for the HSC exams which were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The board has finalized the assessment scheme after several rounds of consultations with various stakeholders.
Around 14 lakh students who are eagerly waiting for the Class 12th result 2021 will be promoted to the next classes based on internal assessments. They will be able to access the result by entering the roll number and mother’s first name.
Maharashtra HSC Result 2021: Evaluation criteria
Student’s scores in the Class 12th assessments along with Class 11 and the marks of the best three performing subjects of Class 10th will be considered for the evaluation criteria.
Class 12 internal marks will carry a weightage of 40%. Whereas, 30% weightage will be given to Class 11 final exams. 30% weightage will be given to Class 10 board exam marks, in which the average of the best three subjects with high marks will be considered for the evaluation.
For the theory portion, scores in one or more (unit test/first semester exams/practice exams) theory papers of Std 12 will carry 40% weightage whereas marks in the final exam of Std.11 & the average of the best 3 performing theory papers of Std 10 will have 30% weightage each. pic.twitter.com/eGUCytzlja

A Result Committee headed by the college Principal & comprising six teachers will be responsible for finalisation of results & safekeeping of records.
If any student is not satisfied with the marks given as per Maharashtra HSC evaluation criteria, he/she can appear for examination in the upcoming months for improvement of scores. The details on these exams will be announced by the Maharashtra Board.
