Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2026: Candidates can apply for e-scrutiny or physical mode against the provisional merit list from July 8 to 9, 2026.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has issued the Maharashtra polytechnic merit list 2026 on its official website at poly26.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. Candidates seeking admission to first-year post SSC diploma technical courses in engineering, technology, architecture, can access the polytechnic merit list by entering their application ID and date of birth.
According to the official notification, candidates who have submitted their application form on or before July 6 were considered for provisional merit list and assigned a merit number.
“The merit is prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate at qualifying examination and in case of tie as specified in sub-section (3) of rule 8,” the notification read.
Candidates must check that the details on the Maharashtra Polytechnic merit list 2026 are correct, including name, qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, special reservation.
If anyone finds any error in the provisional merit list related to any parameter then the candidate should have to report the grievance either by e-Scrutiny through his (In case of candidates who have selected e scrutiny Mode) login or physical scrutiny mode (In case of candidates who have selected Physical Mode) without fail.
The grievance window for e-scrutiny or physical mode will be active from July 8 to 9, 2026.
Moreover, if the authority finds that the seat allotted to a candidate is based on the false claims made in the application by the candidate, then such allotment or admission in the institute shall be cancelled automatically.
Furthermore, if the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly verified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, the same shall be reported to the competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives prior to 5 pm on the day of display of final merit list, the notice says.
Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list, scheduled to be released on July 10, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the subsequent Centralised Admission Process (CAP) counselling rounds according to the official admission schedule.
