The MCC video tutorial explains the NRI quota eligibility criteria, required documents, registration process, choice filling and locking for MBBS admissions through NEET UG 2026 counselling process.
Ahead of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 counselling, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a video tutorial to guideline MBBS, BDS, and BSc nursing aspirants applying under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) quota. The MCC video tutorial contains step-wise guidance on NRI quota eligibility criteria, required documents, registration process for MBBS admissions through NEET UG 2026 counselling process .
“Applying under the NRI quota for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026? This comprehensive guide will help you through the process,” MCC said in a post on X.
“Watch this step-by-step tutorial video to understand the eligibility criteria, required documents, and the counselling process for NRI candidates, helping you complete your MBBS application smoothly and with confidence,” it added.
MCC counselling rules under NRI quota
MBBS aspirants can also contact the medical authority for any assistance regarding NEET UG 2026 counselling at 1800-102-7637 or email at mcc2026@gov.in.
Candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026 and are applying for MBBS admissions on NRI quota must have to upload all the required documents in the given format during the registration, the MCC video tutorial said.
The list of documents for each NRI candidate will depend on their nationality and eligibility, it further said.
The MCC NEET UG counselling 2026 tutorial videos are available on youtube. Apart from the NRI quota tutorial, the committee has also released a list of other videos on counselling registration and seat allotment in Hindi and English languages as well.
Recently, the MCC introduced an online resignation facility and digitising document submission for NRI quota admissions.
Through this, candidates applying under the NRI quota in deemed universities will be able to upload all required documents online through the MCC counselling portal.
