The counselling committee has allowed candidates who choose ‘float’ option to resign or withdraw from their round 1 seat by logging into their account and generate a seat withdrawal slip online. However, if the candidate fails to do so their seat resignation will be treated as ‘null and void.’
MCC has allotted more than 29,000 seats in NEET UG counselling 2026 round 1 admissions .
MCC NEET UG 2026: Instructions for ‘freeze’ candidates
As per MCC NEET UG 2026 notice, round 1 candidates who are willing to ‘resign or withdraw’ from their seat will have to physically report to the allotted institute to resign their seats. Candidates must ensure that their resignation letter or seat withdrawal slip is generated online, through MCC portal by the nodal officer of admitted institute, failing which the resignation will be treated as ‘null and void’.
Also, the resignation for candidates who choose to freeze their seat in round 1 will be without forfeiture of security deposit.
MCC NEET UG counselling round 2
NEET UG counselling 2026 round 2 registration and fee payment process will begin on the official website at mcc.nic.in from September 3 onwards. MCC NEET UG round 2 seat allotment results 2026 will be declared on September 11 and the last date for college reporting is September 18.
