Notably, 11,302 seats are under the clear vacancy list, while 12,283 are under the virtual vacancy list.
The clear vacancy seat matrix shows list of empty seats available for MCC round 2 allotment, while a virtual vacancy reveals a seat currently occupied by a candidate trying to upgrade and will only vacate it if their upgradation request is accepted.
MCC allotted more than 29,000 seats in NEET UG round 1 counselling 2026. A total of 31,728 seats were offered in MCC NEET UG round 1 counselling 2026.

MCC NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2
The committee has begun the MCC NEET UG round 2 registration process. New candidates or those who did not join the allotted seats are eligible for MCC NEET UG counselling 2026, can apply for round 2 on mcc.nic.in.
MCC NEET UG round 2 counselling registration and fee payment will end on September 8. The NEET round 2 choice filling and locking 2026 deadline is September 9.
The seat allotment process will close between September 9 and 10. NEET UG round 2 seat allotment 2026 results will be declared on September 11, and college reporting will be held between September 12 and 18.
