Try NowThe State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra has announced the MHT CET CAP 2026 BTech and BE seat allotment result today, August 2. Students can download the MHT CET CAP seat allotment result 2026 on the official website, fe2026.mahacet.org or cetcell.mahacet.org. A total of 1,57,103 seats have been allotted to candidates in the first round.

According to the allotment, 16,615 candidates were allotted seats for their first choice college. Of the total registered candidates, 98,024 are male, while 59,079 are female students.
Candidates must have their MHT CET CAP application number and password to download the engineering seat allotment order.
This year, for MHT CET CAP 2026 seat matrix for engineering admissions, the seats offered have been increased to 2,16,552 from 2,02,886, compared to last year.
More than 100 engineering courses across 380 engineering colleges across the state have been offered. Notably, seats offered for computer engineering courses are the highest, with a total of 30,993 seats.
The State Cell also rolled back its MHT CET engineering seat allotment revised fee structure after the state government and students raised grievances. MHT CET CAP 2026 seat allotment fees are fixed at Rs 1,000 only for each round of counselling.

Students can follow the steps given below to download their MHT CET CAP 2026 counselling allotment letter.
- Visit the official website fe2026.mahacet.org.
- Click on the MHT CET CAP seat allotment link.
- Enter your login details like application number and password.
- MHT CET round 1 seat allotment will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the allotment order and save it for future reference.
As per the MHT CET CAP 2026 counselling schedule for round 1 admission, students will have to confirm their admission and pay the required fee by August 5, till 5 pm. The list of vacant seats after round 1 admissions will be published on August 6.
