MHT CET Counselling 2026: Registration last date extended till July 19; provisional merit list on July 22

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, has once again extended the registration deadline for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 counselling process. Eligible candidates can now register until July 19 on the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

As per the revised MHT CET 2026 counselling schedule, the document verification and application confirmation process has also been extended till July 20.

Earlier, the MHT CET CAP 2026 registration process began on July 2. The registration deadline was initially fixed for July 12. It was later extended to July 16 and has now been revised to July 19.

The MHT CET CAP provisional merit list 2026 will be published on July 22. Candidates will be allowed to submit grievances, if any, from July 23 to 25. After reviewing the objections, the CET Cell will publish the final merit list on July 27. Candidates whose names appear in the MHT CET 2026 final merit list will be able to fill and confirm their CAP round 1 option form from July 28 to 30.

The MHT CET CAP round 1 provisional seat allotment result 2026 will be announced on August 2. Candidates allotted seats will have to accept the allotment and report to their allotted institutes between August 3 and 5. During reporting, candidates will be required to submit the necessary documents and pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

Steps to register for MHT CET counselling 2026

• Go to the official Maharashtra CET Cell admission website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Click on the registration link for the relevant course.
• Register using the application number and the required login credentials.
• Fill in the online application form with your personal, academic, and category details.
• Upload the required scanned documents in the prescribed format.
• Choose the document verification mode: e-scrutiny or physical scrutiny.
• Verify all the details entered and submit the application form.
• Download and save the confirmation page and application receipt for future reference.

Candidates must note that only verified applications will be considered for the preparation of the MHT CET merit list 2026 and subsequent seat allotment rounds.
