NEW DELHI, MARCH 1: Candidates who are planning to appear for NATA 2018 need to hurry up. The application process for NATA is going to close on March 2, 2018. Candidates will not be allowed to submit the application form after the last date. The application form of NATA 2018 is available in online mode. To fill the application form, candidates need to enter their personal and academic details like name, contact number, email address and educational qualification along with the payment of application fee.

The application fee this year has been raised to Rs. 1800 (inclusive of all taxes) for General Category while it is Rs. 1500 for SC/ST category candidates. To register for NATA, Council of Architecture (COA) has made Aadhaar number mandatory.

Apart from this, what candidates need to be aware of is that COA does not entertain any correction once they submit their application form. Therefore, candidates need to ensure that they are entering all the valid and correct information. However, in rare cases where mistakes are really major and need to be rectified immediately, the authorities might entertain the correction or any discrepancy in the application form on a request by the candidate through e-mail. This request for correction should be received by COA before the issue of NATA 2018 admit card on April 2.

Council of Architecture (COA) will be conducting NATA 2018 on April 29. National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted for admissions to the 5 year Architecture programmes offered in various institutes/colleges across the country. The entrance examination will be held in two parts, Part A which will consist of Maths and General Aptitude in online mode, whereas Part B which is offline will consist of drawing questions. The entrance examination will be held 136 centres in India and 1 abroad.

Candidates must note that counselling for NATA is not held by COA. The NATA qualified candidates will have to apply individually to the institutes for admissions.
