NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education has again extended the last date to register for National Awards to Teachers 2022 till July 10. Eligible teachers across the country can register online and self-nominate themselves on the official website –

MoE said in a tweet, “Good news once again for the eligible participants of NAT2022! The registrations for National Awards to Teachers 2022 will now be open till 10th July, 2022.”

Accordingly, the schedule for NAT 2022 has been revised. Teachers can check their eligibility for the award on the official website. President Ram Nath Kovind will felicitate the teachers selected for the award on the occasion of Teachers Day 2022.

Opening of web-portal for inviting online applications and self nomination by teachers

June 1 to July 10

District, regional selection committee nominations to be forwarded to the state, organization selection committee through online portal

July 11 to 21

State Selection Committee, Organization Selection Committee shortlist to be forwarded to Independent National Jury

July 22 to 31

Intimation to be issued by Ministry of Education to all the shortlisted candidates to make presentations before the National Jury

August 1, 2

Selection process by Jury

August 4 to 12

Finalization of names by Independent National Jury

August 12

Intimation to selected candidates after approval of education minister

Rehearsal and award function
