Amid operational overhaul, NTA shifts office to Minto Road in New Delhi

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has moved its office from the Okhla Industrial Estate to Minto Road, located in central New Delhi. The move comes amid the overhaul of the testing agency’s operations, aimed at reforming the conduct of national-level exams such as NEET, JEE and CUET.

Recently, in August, the Union education minister Pralhad Joshi directed an overhaul of the NTA operations, its security systems, and an audit of all exam processes. This comes in the wake of allegations over the NEET paper leak and mismanagement in the conduct of the national-level examinations.

Moreover, NTA also removed around 600 exper ts and made an announcement to onboard 20-25 officials as part of the process.

NTA's new office

NTA's new office is located on the 5th floor of the government of India press building, Minto road, New Delhi, Pincode - 110002. NTA, in its official notice, has informed students, educational institutions, service providers, and general public to direct all future communications to the new premises.

The NTA has been established as an autonomous organisation under the department of higher education, ministry of education to conduct national level entrance examinations such as National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), and Common University Entrance Test (CUET) efficiently and transparently across the country.
