Navodaya NVS Class 11 LEST 2023 application deadline extended for Manipur students

The selection for NVS Class 11 admission will be made against the vacant seats available for the academic year 2023-24.
NEW DELHI: The Navodaya Vidayalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the online application form submission date of NVS Class 11 Lateral Entry Selection Test (LEST 2023) for Manipur candidates. Those students who are interested in applying for NVS Class 11 lateral entry will now be able to register for the test till July 20 on the official website, navodaya.gov.in.
“The period for submission of online application form only for the candidates of State of Manipur is further extended upto 20.07.2023 (Thursday) due to administrative reasons,” the NVS official website read. At present, there are a total of 649 NVS.
Students who studied Class 10 in the 2022 January to December session and April-2022 to March-2023 session only are eligible to apply for Class 11 LEST, it said.
The selection for NVS Class 11 admission will be made against the vacant seats available for the academic year 2023-24. If qualified candidates are not available, vacant seats will be filled as per the NVS norms.

Once the test is conducted, the district-wise merit list for provisionally selected students will be published. After selecting students against the vacancies in the JNV of the district, a state-level common merit list will be prepared.
How to apply for NVS Class 11 LEST 2023
Students from Manipur will have to follow the steps given below to fill the Navodaya Class 11 lateral entry test.
- Visit the NVS official website, navodaya.gov.in.
- Now click on the Class 11 lateral entry selection test on the homepage.
- Press “Click Here to apply for Registration (Only Manipur)”
- Fill the application form by entering the required details.
- Upload the documents as per the format specified.
- Photograph, signature of candidate and parents signature should be in JPG/JPEG between 10kb to 100kb.
- Review the NVS LEST Class 11 application and submit the form.
