NBSE HSSLC Result 2022 out; girls record higher pass percentage

NEW DELHI: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has declared the Class 12 Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSSLC) 2022 result today, May 31, 2022, on the NBSE website of NBSE at nbsenl.edu.in. As many as 17,121 students enrolled for the NBSE Class 12 exam.

According to the NBSE HSSLC result 2022, the pass percentage in the arts stream is 80.64 percent. In commerce stream, the pass percent is 82.28 percent and 88.24 percent is the pass percent in the science stream. The NBSE result 2022 Class 12 also reveled that the pass percentage of girls is comparatively higher than boys. While girls secured a pass percentage of 85.66 percent in the arts stream, boys secured only 70.80 percent. In commerce, the pass percentage of girls is 88.03 percent, and that of boys is 78.71 percent. In the science stream, 93.07 percent of girls passed, while 82.92 percent of boys cleared the exam .

Limasungla of Christian Higher Secondary School, Dimapur topped the exam in the arts stream with 488 marks followed by Supolepden Kichu from Mezhür Higher Secondary School, Kohima and Lhingneingai from St.Mary's Higher Secondary School, Padampukhuri.
In the commerce stream, Subhansu Jaiswal secured the highest rank by securing 493 marks, followed by Aditya Jaiswal. Both are from the Holy Cross Higher Secondary School in Dimapur.
Ngamjong Jn Yanlem of St.John Higher Secondary Residential School, Dimapur topped the exam in the science stream by securing 476 marks. He was followed by Novelu Swuro of Model Higher Secondary School, Kohima and Ketoukhrie-II Yashii from the Bethel Higher Secondary School, Kohima.

The "Governor's Excellence Award in Science Study" will be awarded to the best six students in the science stream. The top three students with the subject combinations of physics, chemistry, maths (PCM) and physics, chemistry, biology (PCB) will be awarded the prize. The first prize is worth Rs 1 lakh, the second is worth Rs 50,000 and the third prize is worth Rs 25,000.
