Download EBookNew Delhi, July 8: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on behalf of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has released a revised counselling schedule the second round of NEET counselling. As per the new schedule, fresh registration for the round two will begin from July 11 and will remain open till July 13. The choice filling facility will be opened from July 12, 2019. Freshly registered candidates will be able to make payments till July 13. Those who have already registered in the first round of counselling are not required to register again. The decision to postpone events does not come as a surprise as DGHS had extended the dates for the first round too.

Centralized counselling Vs. State Counselling
DGHS is conducting the counselling for 15% AIQ/Central/Deemed Universities/AFMC seats. The counselling is being conducted in online mode. Apart from round one and two, an additional mop-up round will be conducted for all seats offered in Central/ Deemed Universities and ESIC Colleges only. Meanwhile, admission to state quota seats and all seats of private colleges will be administered by the respective state counselling authorities.
