NEET 2021 Application Form (OUT) Live Updates: Registration begins at neet.nta.nic.in; Know how to apply

NTA will open the correction window facility for candidates to rectify an error (if any) in their NEET 2021 application form from August 11 to 14 till 2 PM. Since only a few selected fields can be edited through the NEET correction window facility, students are advised to fill their applications carefully.

As per the revised schedule, NTA will be closing the NEET UG 2021 registration and application filling process today. Aspirants can fill the NEET 2021 form till 9:30 pm and the registration fee can be paid until 11:50 pm. 

NEET 2021 brochure includes 27 % OBC (Non- Creamy Layer) reservation to be provided only in National Institutes/Central Universities. 

The information bulletin of the medical exam states that from this session onwards, the UT of Ladakh shall be eligible for admission to 15% of All India Quota seats in NEET 2021. 

As per the information brochure, the list of NEET UG 2021 centres issuing disability certificates has been increased to 13 to 12, with AIIMS, Nagpur added as a new one. JIPMER Academic Centre has been replaced by Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities, Bandra, Mumbai

NEET UG 2021 will now be conducted on September 12 in a total of 201 cities (200 in India and 1 in Kuwait). The medical entrance exam was earlier conducted in 198 cities. 

The National Testing Agency has revised the Tie-breaking method for NEET 2021. The method of using age to break the tie has been cancelled. As per the brochure, there are only three factors that will be considered while breaking a tie, which are:

• A candidate obtaining higher scores in Biology (Botany & Zoology) will be considered first.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry will be considered. 
• Lastly, if the tie is still there, candidates with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects will be given preference. 

As per the information brochure, the NEET application fee 2021 for General (UR) candidates Rs 1500, while, aspirants belonging to General-EWS/ OBC-NCL category have to pay Rs 1400 and SC/ST/PwD/Transgender, Rs 800 to appear for the medical exam. 

NTA has started the NEET UG registration at neet.nta.nic.in. In order to ensure that the candidate data is submitted quickly, the NEET UG 2021 application form process has been divided into two sets/phases. 

• The first set of information needs to be filled up before the last date of submission.
• The second set of information needs to be filled up by the candidates before the declaration of the NEET 2021 result/ downloading of the scorecard during the period that would be notified by NTA. 

The NEET 2021 information bulletin states that a total of 10% EWS reservation will be provided in National institutes and central universities.

As per the information brochure, the admission to BSc Nursing through NEET 2021 scores will be done by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).

As per the updated exam pattern of NEET 2021, there will be 200 questions out of which candidates need to answer 180. The questions will be divided into two sections for each subject - Section A and B. Section A contains 35 questions while Section B will have 15 questions. Out of these 15 questions, candidates can answer any 10, which makes it 180 questions.

The qualifying codes of NEET-UG 2021 describes the qualifying examination which an applicant has passed. It is necessary for students to select a code during the registration for NEET 2021.  The qualifying code must be selected carefully since it will be verified at the time of NEET counselling.

As per the official notice released by NTA at neet.nta.nic.in, India's single largest medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses will now be conducted in 13 languages with Punjabi and Malayalam added to the list. In the previous year, NEET was conducted in a total of 11 languages. 

NTA has released a notice mentioning the official dates of the NEET 2021. As per the notice, the last date to submit the applictaion form of NEET 2021 is August 6. Check the notice below.

The registrations for NEET-UG 2021 was scheduled to commence on July 13, at 5 pm as per education minister Dharmendra Pradhan's tweet. However, the official website of NTA, nta.ac.in is showing an error. Check the screenshot of the website below.

Candidates will be able to pay the fee for NEET 2021 through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider.

The fee to register for NEET-UG 2021 exam session will be mentioned in the information brochure to be released by NTA. Based on the previous year's bulletin, the NEET application fee was Rs 1500 for General (UR) candidates, while, aspirants belonging to General-EWS/ OBC-NCL category had to pay Rs 1400 and SC/ST/PwD/Transgender, Rs 800 to appear for the medical exam.

The NTA has set up Common Service Centres (CSC) for students who do not have access to the internet. Such aspirants can visit CSCs to complete their NEET 2021 registration 2021. The Common Service Centres for NEET 2021 would charge a nominal fee and would be available from 9 to 6 pm on all working days.

The decision over the upper age limit being 25 years for the General (UR) category in NEET has been challenged in the Supreme Court. And despite a pending judgment by the court, the general category candidates over 25 years of age are tentatively allowed to appear for the NEET 2021.

• Indian Nationals, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and Foreign Nationals. can register for NEET 2021.

• Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board are eligible to appear for NEET-UG.

NTA will begin the registrations for NEET 2021 at 5 pm today. With only a few hours left for the release of the NEET 2021 application form, candidates must keep all the important documents ready. 

 The NTA will conduct the NEET-UG 2021 exam in 11 languages including English and Hindi. The remaining regional languages are - Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Kannada and Urdu. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper mode.

The registration for NEET UG exam will begin from 5 pm on the official website(s). Last year, NEET application form and brochure was released at ntaneet.nic.in. However, a new NTA NEET website has been launched for academic session 2021-22. The medical aspirants can check the information regarding the release of NEET form 2021 on the following websites:

Through NEET-UG 2021 scores, 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH, 1899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats will be granted. Additionally, from this year forth, the scores of the NEET entrance exam will also be used for Bc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences admissions.

In a notice released on March 12, 2021, the NTA had mentioned that NEET 2021 scores may be used for admission to BSc Nursing and BSc Life Sciences courses. JIPMER, Puducherry and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has notified that B.Sc. Nursing admission will be done through NEET 2021. As per the JIPMER official notification, "the admission to B.Sc. Nursing and allied health science courses at JIPMER for admission year 2021-22 will be based on merit score of NEET UG 2021." No separate entrance exam will be conducted.

The education minister on Twitter said about the release of NEET application form on July 13 from 5 pm. He also said that the COVID-19 protocols will be followed. Face masks will be provided at the centre. Staggered entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, social distancing and other guidelines will be ensured strictly. Furthermore, the minister also stated that to ensure the safe conduct of the exam, NEET 2021 exam cities has also been increased. 

To ensure adherence to COVID-19 protocols, face mask will be provided to all candidates at the centre. Staggered time slots during entry and exit, contactless registration, proper sanitisation, seating with social distancing etc. will also be ensured.

NTA will release the application form NEET-UG 2021 on the official website neet.nta.nic.in today July 13 at 5 pm. The timing of the NEET 2021 registrations was confirmed by education minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The brochure will include the events related dates such as the last date to register, the release of the admit card and the result. The official bulletin will also mention the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria and process to register for the exam. As per the education minister, the examination cities will increase from 155 to 198. While the NEET exam centres 2021 will also be increased from 3,862. The exam centres will be increased due to COVID-19 cases and the guidelines will be strictly implemented. Last year, Ladakh was newly added.

Dharmendra Pradhan, the new education minister has announced the dates of NEET exam and application form 2021. As per the minister, NEET-UG 2021 is scheduled to be held on September 12 in offline mode. While the application form will be available from 5 pm on July 13, 2021.
