NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on August 1, 2021. NEET 2021 will be held for admission to undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH, veterinary courses in all colleges of India. Following the pandemic, the nation-wide lockdown has been implemented. All the schools, colleges and coaching institutes have been closed resulting in confusion among candidates.   • Revise the important chapters

Since the NEET syllabus is vast and remembering all the topics, formulas and concepts is very difficult. The best way of remembering the syllabus is to revise the important chapters of NEET. Candidates must ensure that they go through each and every topic at least three to four times. While revising, aspirants must emphasize on the NEET chapter-wise weightage and master them. Students must ensure that they practice a variety of questions with higher weightage during NEET preparation in the lockdown.

  • Practice using previous year question papers

During the lockdown, students have ample time to prepare for NEET 2021 during lockdown and attempt the mock tests. Also one or two full time mock tests should also be taken while preparing NEET 2021 during lockdown. Using the last 10 years of NEET question papers, mock tests, candidates can analyse their mistakes, strengths and weaknesses, and areas of improvement."

NEET 2021

NTA will conduct NEET exam for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc and AH, 1899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats. Also, as per the NTA notice released, the scores of NEET 2021 will be used for BSc nursing and BSc life sciences admissions. However, students are requesting the NTA to postpone the NEET 2021 exam.
