How to prepare for NEET physics
-
Understanding the questions - It is important for students to understand the type and difficulty level of the physics section. As per previous year's analysis, the NEET physics section was moderate to difficult and was dominated by numerical questions. Tricky questions were asked from Optics, Semiconductors, and photoelectric effect. Therefore, the clarity of concepts is a crucial aspect to obtaining good marks in the physics section.
-
Perfect study material - As per the experts and previous NEET toppers, NCERT should be considered as the Bhagavad Gita for medical aspirants. The revision of the concepts can be done by studying from the NCERT and other best books for NEET physics. Concepts of physics, part 1 and 2 by HC Verma, Physics MCQ by D Mukherjee, and Objective physics for medical examination (volume 1 and 2) by DC Pandey are some of the best books for NEET physics.
-
Study previous year papers - Merely understanding the concepts will not help students in passing the NEET physics section, practice and revision are also important. Candidates need to solve the past few years' question papers to be aware of the difficulty and type of question asked. It will be difficult for students to solve difficult questions the first time, but only practice makes a man perfect.
