NEW DELHI: With the announcement of the NEET UG 2023 counselling round 1 result on Sunday, July 30, the medical colleges toppers have been admitted to are announced. The NEET UG 2023 AIR 1 Prabanjan J has chosen JIPMER Puducherry, while the other AIR 1 Bora Varun Chakravarthi has chosen AIIMS New Delhi. The toppers and other UG medical aspirants including from open categories, all India quota categories and reserved categories can now report to the allotted college by August 4.

Tamil Nadu boy Prabanjan J has shared the top rank with Bora Varun Chakravarthi of Andhra Pradesh by obtaining a perfect 720 marks with 99.9999019 percentile score in NEET UG 2023.

Candidates, as per an MCC statement on NEET UG counselling, willing to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 will not be required to register again. Also, candidates who have not reported in Round-1 need not register again. Fresh new registration for round-2 for those candidates who have not registered in round-1 with full payment of fees will be done between August 9 and August 14.

If upgraded in round 2, the candidate must take relieving from round 1 seat and join round 2 seat. Candidates allotted seats in round 2 but who do not report or join the allotted institute shall forfeit their security deposit. Candidates getting upgraded in round 2 will not have any claim on round 1 seat.
