NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) declared the National Eligibillity-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2023 provisional seat allotment result today, July 29 on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The NEET UG final seat allotment result will be released tomorrow, July 30, 2023.

Candidates can inform about any discrepancy in the result to MCC of DGHS by 10 AM tomorrow. Several states including Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Punjab and Haryana have started the NEET UG counselling 2023 process for MBBS, BDS admissions for state quota seats in medical and dental colleges.
MCC's official notice reads: "The candidates are further informed that the Provisional Result is only indicative in nature and subject to change. The candidates cannot claim any right over the allotted seat in the provisional result and it cannot be challenged before the court of law. The candidates are advised to approach the allotted college/ institute only after the declaration of Final Result and only after downloading the Provisional allotment letter from the MCC website".
In the latest update, the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University has released the Uttarakhand NEET UG counselling 2023 schedule and accordingly the registration will begin today at hnbumu.ac.in. Kerala NEET counselling 2023 seat allotment result will be declared on August 2.
Based on the choice opted by the aspirants, the MCC will declare the seat allotment result today. After the seat allotment result, candidates will have to submit the documents on July 30 and reporting will begin from July 31.

The MCC conducts NEET counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100% in deemed, central universities, ESIC, AFMS, AIIMS, JIPMER, and BSc Nursing programmes. A total of four rounds of counselling will be conducted by the committee.
The NEET UG counselling 2023 for the remaining 85% of government seats and 100% of private seats of the state is done by the respective state DMEs.

MCC has released the NEET PG counselling 2023 dates at mcc.nic.in. As per the NEET PG 2023 counselling schedule, the registration for NEET PG counselling round 1 started on July 27.
The seat allotment in NEET UG counselling is based on the candidate's NEET UG 2023 score, choices filled during the counselling, availability of seats and category-wise reservation criteria.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has removed the MBBS seats of Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Enathur, Kanchipuram from the seat matrix of NEET UG counselling 2023 as the college has not received the recognition from NMC. The college offered 250 MBBS seats.
In NEET UG counselling 2023, of a total of 8,113 All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 2,189 are reserved for the OBC category in medical and dental colleges for the academic year 2023-24, the ministry of health told the Parliament. "From the academic year 2021-22, 27% reservation in respect of OBCs as per the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006 is provided for undergraduate and postgraduate medical/dental courses (MBBS/MD/MS/Diploma/ BDS/MDS) in All India Quota (AIQ) seats as per Central OBC List (Non creamy layer) and the same is applied for seats contributed by States," the health ministry said in a reply.

As per the Rajasthan NEET UG counselling 2023 schedule, the registration window closed on Wednesday, July 26. As many as 21 government and nine private medical colleges in Rajasthan will admit students through NEET UG state counselling 2023.

The candidates who will be allotted seats in the all India quota (AIQ) by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will have to upload their relevant documents on the official website – mcc.nic.in – on July 30. The candidates will have to report at the allotted institute from July 31 to August 4. The seat allotment result will be announced on July 29.
Students opting for medical and dental seats in Haryana will have to pay the tuition fee July 31 to August 4 through the official website -- uhsrugcounselling.com. The provisional seat allocation list will be out on July 30 and the students will have to join the allotted college by August 8.
The candidates who will be allotted a seat in the Telangana NEET Counselling 2023 should download the allotment order. He will then have to submit the printout of the filled-in online application form, allotment order , bonds and original certificates, along with a set of self attested copies, to the principal of allotted college at the time of joining for final verification.

Department of Medical Education and Research is conducting the Haryana NEET UG counselling 2023 for state quota seats in the state. There are 2,185 MBBS seats in the state. The provision seat allotment list will be published on July 31. Candidates can download the list from official website -- uhsrugcounselling.com.
The National Medical Commission, NMC, has asked the participating colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days. Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has asked the NMC to upload state postgraduate counselling schedules on the NMC official website -- mcc.nic.in.

Medical Counselling committee, MCC, has extended the process of online choice filling process for MCC NEET UG Counselling 2023 till 11: 55M on July 27. The candidates can fill the list of preferred institutes at the official website -- mcc.nic.in.
Candidates applying for UP NEET counselling 2023 can submit the application and security fee till 5 PM on July 28. The students will have to pay a security deposit of Rs 30,000 for state quota seats. Those applying for private medical and dental college will have to deposit Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh for MBBS and BDS seats, respectively. Only those students who have submitted the security deposit will be allowed in the online choice filling process, which starts at 11 AM on July 31.
The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, KNRUHS Warangal, is conducting NEET UG counselling 2023 for private and government medical and dental colleges in Telangana. The web option for KNRUHS NEET UG 2023 is expected to start in first week of August.
NMC has directed the participating colleges to treat all Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days.

Only a few MP students have opted for Hindi MBBS textbooks to pursue the medical education. The Madhya Pradesh government launched MBBS textbooks in Hindi for three courses - anatomy, physiology and biochemistry - last year. The president of Resident Doctors Association (RDA) of a medical college in the state said that at most 10 students opted for medical education in Hindi out of a total of 250 students in the college.

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will commence the Bihar NEET UG counselling 2023 process soon. The registration date and schedule for admission to Bihar medical and dental colleges will be announced at bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
MCC NEET UG counselling 2023 registration date was July 25. Candidates were allowed to fill and lock choices by July 26. As per the NEET UG counselling 2023 schedule PDF, the round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on July 29.

Unlike old times, when the Medical Council of India used to upload the detailed reports on the performance of medical colleges, the National Medical Commission (NMC) will only be providing the latest assessment results and ratings of medical colleges on its website for students, it announced in its “Establishment of medical institutions, assessment and rating regulations, 2023". Accordingly, students, parents, and others will only get to know about the recognition status of a particular medical college.

While MCC is in the process of allotting MBBS, BDS seats to candidates for 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) under the NEET UG counselling 2023, several states such as UP, MP, Haryana, Kerala, Karnataka, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, etc. have also begun the counselling process for 85% state quota seats in medical, dental colleges.

The number of suicide cases of students taking NEET coaching from the various coaching centres across the country is not maintained, MoS Subhas Sarkar said in a written reply to the Lok Sabha. The reason behind this is that education is a subject in the concurrent list and most of the educational institutions are managed by the states and UTs.

The registration for the Uttar Pradesh National Eligibility Entrance Test (UP NEET) UG counselling 2023 will end tomorrow, July 28. Candidates can apply for MBBS, BDS admissions at upneet.gov.in. While the round 1 registration window will close at 11 am, students will be able to submit the fee by 5 pm tomorrow. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana will soon announce the Haryana NEET UG counselling dates and will be starting the registration process for admission to around 1,835 MBBS and 950 BDS seats offered by government and private colleges.
