NEET form 2021 dates awaited; Will exam be delayed?

NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to undergraduate medical courses is scheduled to be conducted on August 1. As of now, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not clarified the dates of the NEET form fill up 2021. Due to a lack of clarity on registration, students are demanding the NTA update on NEET 2021.

India is experiencing the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. India recorded more than a lakh of COVID cases over this month. Meanwhile, states including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand are among the worst-hit due to cyclones.

As the NEET 2021 exam date is approaching, many aspirants have started demanding to postpone NEET 2021.

Latest update on NEET 2021

As per the latest news on NEET UG 2021, during the high-level meeting for CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021, which was conducted on May 23, it was decided that NEET UG exam will be conducted. However, no clarity on the new NEET 2021 exam date was announced.

The new update on NEET 2021 is NTA has activated the NTA NEET 2021 official website - neet.nta.nic.in. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Sunday asked states to send suggestions on 12th board exams and said a decision will be taken at the earliest. Based on suggestions, a collaborative decision on conducting NEET along with all major exams will be announced at the earliest.

Why do students want NTA to postpone NEET 2021?

Aspirants must note that NTA or any competent authorities have not given any confirmation regarding the delay in NEET 2021 exam. However, students are demanding to postpone NEET 2021.

If the COVID-19 situation does not improve and if there is postponement of Class 12 board exams, it is highly likely that the NTA will postpone NEET 2021.

Along with the released NTA notification on exam date, authorities have stated that the NEET application form 2021 will be available shortly on the official website - ntaneet.nic.in or nta.ac.in, however, it has not been available yet.
