NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education will announce its decision on board exam 2021 date and format by June 1, 2021. The Central Government has clarified that CBSE Class 12 board exam 2021 will be conducted. However, a petition seeking cancellation of the CBSE 12th exam has been filed in Supreme Court and the hearing will be held on May 31, 2021.

UPMSP has cancelled Class 10 exams and announced the tentative UP board exam date 2021 for Class 12 examinations. Now, the UP 12th exams will be held in the second week of July 2021. Know all about UP board exam date and new pattern.
The CBSE board has proposed two options for conducting the 12th board exam. The first one is to conduct 12th class exams for major subjects and award marks to other students, based on the student’s performance in these subjects.
The second proposed option for CBSE 12th board exam 2021 is to hold exams in the same way as earlier. But, do small changes in the CBSE 12th exam pattern. After a high-level meeting, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, said that the centre proposed to conduct exams with some changes in a pattern like take exams with a duration of 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours.
A final decision on the CBSE class 12 board exam 2021 is to be taken by June 1, 2021. State governments are also taking the decisions for their respective 12th board exam 2021.

A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court by Advocate Mamta Sharma for the cancellation of CBSE board exams 2021. Advocate Sharma in the petition has requested to evaluate the CBSE 12th result on an ‘objective methodology’.

A majority of states are in favor of conducting 12th class board exams sooner or later. Some states emphasize vaccinating students and teachers before going for the SSC and HSC board examination.
Earlier the CBSE board has released the Class 12 exam dates on February 2, 2021. The Class 12 board exams were scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 14, 2021. On April 14, the board has decided to postpone the Class 12 exams due to a surge in Covid-19 cases.
As per NDTV, TBSE Board president Bhabatosh Saha said, For Tripura board class 10, exams will be held for English, Mathematics and Science. Where Class 12 TBSE exam will be held only for important papers.

As per NDTV, the Jharkhand Government has decided to promote the students of JAC Board Class 9 to Class 11 to the without exams.
As reported by Times of India, The Board is willing to conduct MP Board class 12 exams 2021. The department has made it clear that they can wait till July, but giving general promotion is not viable.

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) demanded the cancellation of Class 12 board examinations. They raise a slogan "'pehle suraksha, phir pariksha' (first safety, then exams)". NSUI demanded that the government should find an alternative to the examinations as the country is battling a second wave of coronavirus infection.
The Supreme Court of India has directed the states to provide immediate relief to the children orphaned due to COVID-19. The direction came on an application filed by Gaurav Agarwal seeking identification of orphaned children and providing them immediate relief by the states.

Telangana board has postponed the second-year TS inter practical exams due to rise in COVID cases. The TSBIE practical exams were scheduled to begin from May 29, 2021.

As per Times of India, "A vacation bench comprising Justices AM Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari adjourned the matter after noting that the petitioner has not served advanced copy on the standing counsel for the CBSE Board."

Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said, "We need to take care of the children who have lost their father and mother due to COVID-19. A special package will be implemented for the care of such children."

West Bengal will hold the WBBSE board exam 2021 Class 12 in the last week of July. While the 2021 madhyamik exam date west bengal board will fall in mid-August, chief minister Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday. As per the report of Indian express, The TSBIE second-year inter practical exams 2021 are postponed by the board until further orders.
As per the report of NDTV, the West Bengal Board exams 2021 will be held in July and August. WB Class 12 board exams 2021 will be held in the last week of July. The students wing of the CPI(M) urged West Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu to ensure that students of Classes 10 and 12 do not lag behind examinees of other boards. Students Federation of India (SFI) state unit secretary Srijon Bhattacharya and state president Pratikur Rahman also wrote a letter to Basu asking the state government to register its strong protest against the "conspiracy by the Centre to make online education mandatory for every student," reported by NDTV.

UP Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh told ANI, “When the education department will finalise (dates for 12th board exams) then the health department will see how to maintain COVID protocols in centers. We’ve conducted panchayat polls and other programs following COVID protocols. So, it won’t be difficult for us,” as reported by Indian Express.

Assam education minister, Ranoj Pegu, said that The board will hold the HSLC and HS examination. However, Assam 12th board exam 2021 dates for both the classes are yet to be finalised. The exams will be held for three subjects only.
