Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started the counselling process for NEET PG 2018 with online registration opening from today. According to MCC, which conducts the online counselling process on behalf of DGHS, the choice filling process will begin from March 19.

The NEET PG qualified candidates will be allowed to register online until March 24, 2018, up to 5.00 PM followed by the choice filling and choice locking session. MCC has made few changes in the registration process, as per which the candidates will be required to register afresh for the second round of counselling. This can be beneficial for aspirants who miss participating in the first round of the counselling process.

Unlike last year, the counselling process for AIQ, Central and Deemed Universities will be conducted simultaneously. The only difference is that MCC is responsible for conducting two rounds of AIQ counselling whereas for Deemed and Central Universities there will be three rounds of counselling. The seats left vacant after the last rounds of counselling will be sent back to the respective authorities who can conduct their own counselling process to fill the vacancies.

NEET PG 2018 Counselling Fee

The candidates applying for the counselling of AIQ or Central Universities will have to make a payment of INR 1,000 whereas, for Deemed Universities, the fee is INR 5,000. If in case, aspirants want to participate in the counselling process of AIQ, Central and Deemed Universities, they will have to pay the higher amount of application fee.

NEET PG 2018 Merit List

The merit list was released on February 16, 2018, which provided candidates with their All India NEET PG 2018 rank. The merit list included only those candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2018. The rank was allotted on the basis of the candidates’ performance in NEET PG entrance exam.

NEET PG 2018 Cutoff

NEET PG 2018 result was announced on January 23, 2018, which comprise the score of each candidate and the cutoff marks required to qualify the single window entrance exam. Since the candidates who have qualified NEET PG 2018 are only eligible to participate in the counselling process. It is advisable to check the NEET PG 2018 cutoff which is given below-

Validity of NEET PG 2018 score

NEET PG 2018 is a single window entrance exam for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses across India. This year, the exam was conducted on January 7, 2018, followed by the result. The marks scored in NEET PG 2018 will be valid for a year. These marks will be the basis for NEET PG counselling since the admission will be given on the merit cum preference basis.
