NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced fresh registration for candidates eligible as per the revised NEET PG cut-off 2022. The fresh registration and choice filling for such candidates will be conducted as per the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test postgraduate (NEET PG 2022) counselling mop-up round.
The ministry of health and family welfare (MOHFW) had recently approved the reduction in qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2022 by 25 percentile.
In the latest notice, the MCC said, “It is also informed that the candidates who became eligible after lowering of percentile have to do Fresh Registration and exercise Choice Filling Mop - Up Round of PG Counselling 2022 that will be conducted as per schedule mentioned on MCC website.”
Those candidates who became eligible as per the NEET PG 2022 revised cut-off will be able to register from October 31 at MCC official website, mcc.nic.in. The last date for NEET PG 2022 mop-up round counselling is November 4, 2022.
Choice filling and locking facility will be available for candidates from November 1 to 4, as per the NEET PG counselling schedule.
Seat allotment result for qualified candidates as per the revised cut-off NEET PG and those applying for mop-up round will be declared on November 9, 2022. Once the NEET PG mop-up result is declared, students will have to report to the allotted medical college between November 10 to 14, 2022.
The decision to reduce the NEET PG 2022 percentile was taken by the health ministry due to a large number of seats that had gone vacant in the NEET PG counselling held last year.
